Rapido Trains HO Scale CF7 Square Cab – Alabama Central #402 – DCC/Sound
Add something different to your HO scale diesel locomotive roster with the Rapido Trains CF7 Square Cab in Alabama Central #402. Produced in partnership with Home Shops, this exclusive model combines Rapido's detailed CF7 tooling with the Alabama Central paint scheme.
The CF7 originated from Santa Fe's locomotive rebuilding program, which transformed aging EMD F7 units into versatile road-switcher locomotives. With their distinctive appearance and long service lives, CF7s became popular among shortline and regional railroads. This HO scale model represents the square-cab configuration.
Equipped with DCC and sound, Alabama Central #402 is an excellent addition to a shortline railroad, industrial switching layout, or collection of distinctive diesel locomotives.
